  • Sunset has always held a special place in my heart. The warmth of the evening light, the beautiful colors, and the slower pace of the day create the atmosphere I love most for capturing genuine connection and meaningful moments.

    For these reasons, I thoughtfully schedule my sessions around sunset, when the light and overall experience best reflect the style of photography I'm known for.

    Sunrise sessions may be available for select locations where the morning light is especially beautiful or better suited to the setting.

  • No. My sessions are focused on no more than 6 immediate family members. Clients may not combine their session with friends or other extended family members. While I appreciate when friends & families want to gather for photos, the more people involved, the less we are able to focus on the types of images that most likely drew you to my photography in the first place.

  • Heck yea I travel…just not at the moment :-( I’ll be sure to update my site when my personal schedule allows me to travel throughout the Hawaiian Islands + Worldwide!

  • No. RAW images are not a true representation of my work and have not seen the copious amounts of tender loving care I put into every image to make them authentic. Trust me, you want the finished, edited result - that’s half of why you hired me in the first place!

  • Underwater clarity can never be guaranteed (Mother Nature does what she pleases!). I make it a general practice to hunt for the clearest, most safe waters for our session - always in hope that we can obtain underwater photos if you’re comfortable & if conditions allow.

  • You do you and let me worry about the rest. You are awesome just the way you are…really! I want you to look like YOU. I’ll of course retouch the random blemish and edit random people and objects out of the background…but leave the extensive photoshopping to Vogue Magazine covers…you’re better than that!

  • I photograph across Maui’s North Shore, South Shore, West Maui, and Upcountry, including Paia, Baldwin Beach, Baby Beach, and more. I do not offer sessions in East Maui / Hana. I’ll help you choose the perfect spot based on light, mood, and accessibility.

  • You’ll receive a color-corrected Preview Gallery within 5 days of your session where you will review & choose your Final Gallery images for retouching. Your Final Downloadable Online Gallery is guaranteed within 2 weeks of receiving payment of your Final Invoice, which is delivered immediately after our session commences. The fastest in the Islands!

  • Absolutely - no exceptions. The oceans here in Hawaii aren’t like any other body of water you’ve been in - so knowledge of swimming & treading water is a necessity. Safety & you being comfortable is my ultimate priority. And rest assure, I have lifeguard training + plenty of ocean knowledge, so I will never put you in a position of uncertainty or danger. If you cannot swim, please do not opt for this session. Shoreline play can be just as fun & creative!

  • Maui weather is wild, but beautiful! I always keep an eye on conditions and offer flexible reschedules when needed. Cancellation or rescheduling due to weather conditions is at the Photographer’s discretion. While the weather here in Hawaii is ALWAYS changing, rest assured that even if the forecast calls for rain or there is a little overcast and/or scary-looking clouds, these all make for beautiful light and stunning skies...so I try not to reschedule a shoot any more than 3 hours before a session.

  • Super simple - just choose your session on your Quote, sign the agreement, pay the retainer, and we’re set. Once a booking is finalized, I decline all other work for that time & date, cementing our time together.

  • Stick with neutral, earthy tones that move well and match the natural Maui palette. I send every client a Style Guide to help you plan wardrobe options for the whole crew.

  • Sessions range from 30-minute mini sessions to full 1 to 2 hour-long story-driven experiences. I’ll guide you based on your family size and vision.
